($50; 88% grenache, 6% mourvedre, 3% syrah, 2% counoise and 1% roussanne) Dark red. Strikingly fresh and pure bouquet of strawberry, raspberry and dried flowers; smells like pinot noir. Clean and brisk, with a silky texture, sweet red berry flavors and soft tannins. Becomes chewier on the finish but maintains admirable finesse and clarity, closing with tangy mineral lift. Pretty suave stuff.
