($34) Bright red. Vibrant cherry and pomegranate aromas are complicated by dried flowers and dusty minerals. Tangy, sharply focused red berry flavors gain weight with air, picking up an exotic orange peel quality. Silky tannins make a late appearance but are quickly absorbed by the sweet fruit. This includes 10% carignane and about 3% syrah. (JR)
