2004 Arrowood Vineyards and Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso Vineyard Sonoma Valley
Producer: Arrowood Vineyards and Winery
Style: Red Wine
Grape Type: Cabernet Sauvignon
Origin: California
Region: Sonoma
90 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 2008
($70) Opaque ruby. Impressively spicy, energetic aromas of red berries, cherry, spices and flowers; smells a bit like a zinfandel. Fresh and pure, with lively redcurrant and cassis flavors, peppery spice and fully absorbed tannins. Picks up a candied licorice quality on the long, clean finish. A polished, elegant style, with no rough edges.
