($129-$150) Bright golden-yellow. Wonderfully complex, rot-ennobled nose melds pineapple, yellow peach, cherry-almond, honey and oak spices. Superrich, lush and deep, conveying a powerful impression of botrytis character in its concentration of sweetness and fresh acidity. Wonderfully chewy, tactile wine with a very sweet, gripping, highly perfumed aftertaste. This is very Yquem-like in 2007, perhaps even thicker than its neighbor but not quite as fine. A great vintage in the making for this Sauternes.
