($90-$110) Dark red-ruby. Black raspberry, menthol, pepper and spices on the nose, plus a whiff of leather. Juicy and sweet but a bit youthfully tight and lacking in generosity today; I wanted a bit more dimension. In a cooler style, finishing with slightly dry-edged tannins. Just a bit pinched.
