($38-$55) Bright medium gold. Knockout nose melds apricot, pineapple, curry powder and exotic smoky oak. Very dense and thick, with a honeyed sweetness, but kept in check today by strong acidity. This very powerful wine is youthfully imploded at present, even a bit aggressive, and will need several years to express itself. Late finishing notes of flowers and minerals contribute to the wine's vibrant character.
