($35-$45) Good deep red. Aromas of currant, plum, minerals, licorice, smoke, pepper and flowers. Nicely delineated if a bit tight and ungiving, with a floral topnote contributing to the wine's high-pitched character. Finishes with a firm tannic edge. I wanted a bit more pliancy, but then that's the case with many other '07s from the Medoc.
