($40) Light orange-pink color. Red berries, peach skin, smoky minerals and dried lavender on the nose, picks up peppery spices with air, which carry onto the palate and add nerve and zest to the sweet raspberry and cherry flavors. Firm and focused but far from hard, with excellent finishing grip and chewy, unflagging persistence. This has the depth and texture to handle lighter meat or rich fish dishes.
