About Donnhoff
It took a long time to build the Donnhoff estate in the Nahe. Roughly 250 years. It was Helmut Donhoff's grandfather who really had the vision for vineyard acquisition. But Helmut has taken it to a whole other level, having brought the estate to the pinnacle of the world's white wine producing domains. With his outstanding portfolio of vineyard sites, he achieves consistently outstanding, site-inflected results. Any Dönnhoff wines are worth buying (when they can be found)-- there's no real point in singling out any one spot.

Rich golden yellow. Magnificent aromas of yellow plum, honeysuckle and cinnamon complemented by a waft of smoky botrytis. Musky pineapple jam and elevated minerality animate the palate. The very long, dense and juicy finish is marked by a refined spiciness.
