($60; for 500 ml) Greenish-gold color. Exotic fruits, melon and peach on the nose, with baking spices and floral honey adding complexity. The honey note carries onto the palate, which features ripe honeydew, vanilla and guava flavors. Strikingly sweet and chewy but lively wine with excellent mineral lift and cut on the finish. This clocks in at 280 grams per liter of residual sugar, but that sweetness is suavely buffered by the wine's tangy minerality. (Terlato Wines International, Lake Bluff, IL)
