About Louis Michel & Fils
In six generations of winemaking here in Chablis, the Michel family has developed a no nonsense approach. You won't find the distracting presence of oak in these immaculate Chardonnays, because no wood is used in their cellaring.
2007 Louis Michel & Fils Chablis
Producer: Louis Michel & Fils
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Chardonnay
Origin: France
Region: Burgundy
Appellation: Chablis
88(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2009
($29) Pale yellow. Pure if subdued aromas of pineapple, lemon and stone. Denser than the Petit Chablis but every bit as tight, with lemony acidity giving the wine a powerful impression of cut for village wine. Finishes brisk, even youthfully austere.
