About Louis Michel & Fils
In six generations of winemaking here in Chablis, the Michel family has developed a no nonsense approach. You won't find the distracting presence of oak in these immaculate Chardonnays, because no wood is used in their cellaring.

($43) Pale, bright yellow. Wet stone, minerals, menthol and honey on the nose, with fruit in the background. Broad but dry and austere, with good texture but modest lift to the lemon and stone flavors. Finishes slightly dusty. I find this awkward today.
