($120) Deep ruby. Red- and blackcurrant, crystallized flowers, cured tobacco and suave oak spices on the nose. Deeply concentrated but energetic, with vivid red and dark berry flavors complicated by candied rose, lavender and cola. Takes a turn toward blueberry and boysenberry with air and finishes with subtle tannic grip and a jolt of tangy berry skin. A wonderfully fresh cabernet with outstanding finishing cut.
