($50; a blend of pinot noir, viognier, garnacha blanca and roussanne) Pale gold. Exotically perfumed, complex bouquet of fresh and dried pit fruits, orange, smoky minerals, vanilla and pungent flowers. Dry and fleshy, with deep peach and yellow plum flavors enlivened by zesty minerality and sweetened by subtle floral honey and pear nectar notes. An intriguing wine that would go well with complex, rich seafood dishes or lighter poultry preparations. I've no idea how this will age but it is complex enough to drink right now.
