($29) Inky ruby. Strongly aromatic bouquet of cassis, dark chocolate, licorice and tobacco. Fresh and tangy, with taut red- and blackcurrant flavors, chewy tannins and slow-mounting spiciness. Stains the palate and finishes with very good lingering sweetness. This shut down a bit with aeration so I'd give it some cellar time.
