($29) Light, bright gold. Deep, musky aromas of pear, peach skin, green papaya and lime pith. Concentrated citrus and orchard fruit flavors are enlivened by juicy acidity and overlain with dusty minerals. The citrus notes gain strength on the finish, which is nervy, focused and long. This wine's mix of energy and depth will make it very adaptable at the table. (Eric Solomon Selections, Charlotte, NC)

Crisp Surprise
by chard12394154
Lovely pale straw color, pleasant aroma, crisp, almost snappy to the palate. Excellent companion with seafood tapas; it is what albariños are known for. Just as nice to sip.
