This thick and big-bodied Viognier has few rivals when it comes to out and out richness, and, while not as boldly fruity as some, it is a deep and show-stopping effort whose lavish mix of honey and sweet oak moves it to the head of the class. Its time is now, and it is not one for lengthy keeping, but it is certain to make for memorable drinking in the near term with the likes of spicy Moroccan chicken dishes.
Lemon, peach and apricot aromas lifted by a floral topnote. Perfumed in the mouth, with complex flavors of peach, melon, beeswax and wild herbs complicated by gardenia. A rich yet elegant viognier, finishing with good grip and sneaky length.
