About Hippolyte Reverdy
This unheralded producer can be counted on for steely, tangy Sancerre with strong citrus notes and lipsmacking acidity. These wines are terrifically versatile with food, and routinely show restrained notes of citrus, smoke, along with plenty of minerality and acidity.Expert Reviews
Light yellow. Lemon zest, stone and mint on the nose. Tightly wound and closed on entry but slowly opens to offer juicy citrus and green apple flavors. A very dry and backward wine that borders on austere, in a good way, with strong finishing cut and drive. This would be great with raw oysters.
