87 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - April 2009

($22; 70% merlot, 20% cabernet sauvignon and 10% petit verdot) Good red-ruby. Very ripe aromas of plum, currant, mocha and tobacco, complemented by chocolate and leather nuances. Sweet, lush and pliant, with moderate depth but good grip to the flavors of currant, tobacco and earth. Finishes with ripe, supple tannins and good lingering fruit. A forward and satisfying 2005 at a gentle price.
