Here in Dogliani, Anna Maria Abbona produces outstanding Dolecettos from a series of organically farmed vineyards. Prior to Anna Maria's return to the estate, the family used to sell their grapes to other winemakers. But Anna Maria oversaw an upgrade of the winemaking facilities and now makes Dolcetto from the estate's old vines. These wines are marked by explosive violet and cassis-like aromas and plenty of concentration.
