Expert Reviews

90 Points | International Wine Cellar , November 2009

($28) Bright ruby. Pungent aromas of cherry and dark berry skin, smoky herbs and dried rose. Sappy, penetrating and slightly bitter dark fruit flavors are framed by dusty tannins, which give way to fresher red berry qualities on the back end. Becomes more red-fruity with aeration, and more tangy as well. The smoky note repeats on the finish, which is spicy, gripping and very persistent. (Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA)
