($51) Good deep, bright red. Aromas of dark cherry, currant, flint and stone. Broad, rich and dry, offering impressive volume for Savigny. Fleshy and sweet but with complicating saline nuances. Spreads out impressively on the broad back end, which features dusty tannins and serious ripeness.
