($75) Pale medium red with a light rim. Smoky, briary red fruits on the slightly blurry nose. Supple and sweet if a bit reduced, with an earthy, smoky quality to the strawberry and red cherry flavors. Finishes with light tannins and an edge of acidity. This gained in sweetness and focus with extended aeration.
