($49) Vivid red color. Energetic red and dark berry aromas expand with air, picking up fresh rose and incense qualities. Deeply concentrated raspberry and blackberry flavors are given spine by dusty minerality, turning firmer on the close. Fine-grained tannins guide the sweet fruit through a long, gently chewy finish. This seems more vibrant than the O.G. today, and there's the structure here to suggest that it will repay a few more years of patience.
