($30) Pale, green-tinged color. Classic pungent sauvignon aromas of gooseberry, passion fruit and peppery fresh herbs. Then tactile and downright chewy in the mouth, with an almost shocking richness and opulence. A major, ripe mouthful of wine-almost too easy for this bottling! But has enough acidity to maintain its balance.
