($295) Saturated ruby. A seductive bouquet offers black raspberry, potpourri, graphite and anise. Sweet red and dark berry flavors are deeply concentrated and fresh, with excellent mineral lift and building spiciness. Suave floral pastille and berry liqueur notes linger on the long, spicy finish. I was looking for tannins but the fruit seems to have absorbed them. There is one lonely barrel of this wine.
