($20; 72% shiraz, 17% cabernet sauvignon and 11% merlot) Ruby-red. Spicy red and dark berry aromas are deepened by licorice and pungent herbs. Sharply focused raspberry and cassis flavors are firmed by fine-grained tannins and gain sweetness with air. Nothing outsized here-I can't help but notice that the name doesn't really fit. Finishes with very good energy.
