88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2008

($38) Pale yellow. Vivid pear and yellow plum aromas are complicated by suave floral and dusty mineral scents. Refreshingly bitter pear skin and lemon pith flavors finish with good cut, although a late note of warm Poire William knocked my score down a notch or two. Serve this with pungent washed-rind or blue cheeses, or a rich shellfish dish.
