($40; 41% syrah, 38% mourvedre, 12% grenache and 9% counoise) Bright-rimmed ruby. Vivid raspberry and blackcurrant aromas show a suave floral undertone. Sappy red fruit flavors are focused and admirably pure, with silky tannins adding structure. Gains energy on the finish, which is tangy and impressively persistent.
