($55) Saturated ruby-red. Powerfully scented bouquet of smoky red and dark berries, Asian spices and minerals. Supple and concentrated, offering deep black raspberry and blackcurrant flavors, velvety texture and a late jolt of tangy minerals. Vanilla and cherry-cola qualities cling impressively on the long, sappy finish. This is quite primary but also very promising. (Classical Wines, Seattle, WA)
