90(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , September/October 2008

($55) Inky purple. Very rich aromas of dark cherry, plum and mocha. Displays fresher berry qualities on the palate, with slow-mounting minerality adding welcome lift. Deep, chewy and serious, with powerful tannins contributing structure. As this sat in the glass, it became more lively, picking up a black raspberry note and losing some of its brooding character. Leaves smoky minerals behind on the long, chewy finish. This needs some time to stretch out.
