($60) Deep red. Deeper than the basic pinot release, displaying smoky cherry and dark berry scents, with as exotic incense note adding complexity. Firm and focused, with rich kirsch and blackberry flavors, dusty tannins and a sexy Asian spice quality. Finishes with very good grip and a strong echo of brown spices. This is structured to age.
