About Domaine Weinbach
Domaine Weinbach was established in 1610 by the Capuchin monks who also gave their name to the domaine's most prized vineyard, Clos des Capucins. The estate itself got the name Weinbach--which literally translates to "wine brook"--from a little stream that trickles through the property.

($336) Bright yellow. Lovely spicy lift to the aromas of yellow peach and rose petal. Juicy and penetrating, with a light touch suggesting a high-altitude wine. Not a pliant style, though, and a touch hard-edged on the finish. Tighter than the VT version but I don't find it quite as pristine.
