2005 Aubin Cellars Syrah Verve Columbia Valley

Bright medium ruby. Slightly reduced aromas of cassis, smoked meat and sweet oak. Moderately dense and youthfully bound-up, but with a juicy quality and good intensity to its dark berry, chocolate, spice and meat flavors. Any real complexity here is currently blocked by the wine's rather unyielding character.
