($28) Full ruby-red. Red berries, licorice, clove, wild herbs and aromatic peppercorn on the nose and palate. Fresh and juicy, with very good lift and grip to the slightly firm-edged flavors. Aromatically pure but ultimately less complex than this winery's blends.
