($65; 65% bourboulenc and 35% roussanne) Pale straw. Strikingly complex aromas of lime, melon, blond tobacco and smoky minerals. Pliant orchard and citrus fruit flavors coat the palate and are firmed by tangy minerals. Turns spicier on the finish, with the melon and tobacco notes echoing. This is deep enough to reward cellaring. (Eric Solomon Selections, Charlotte, NC)
