($34) Ruby-red color. Smoky red and dark berry aromas are complicated by cracked pepper and violet; this smells like syrah. A tangy midweight, with solid punch and purity to its raspberry and bitter cherry flavors. Dusty tannins add gentle grip to the long, sappy finish. This is admirably suave for the variety.
