93 Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2008

($85; 39% roussanne, 31% viognier and 30% chardonnay; 16.2% alcohol) Bright gold. Deep, smoky aromas of spicy peach, mango, toasted nuts and pungent herbs. Explodes on the palate, offering deeply concentrated exotic and pit fruit flavors, with a jolt of dusty minerals on the back. A waxy note builds on the finish, which is impressively focused, gripping and dry. No excess fat here. This is the last white wine in which Manfred Krankl will include chardonnay.
