($57) Medium green-yellow. Discreet pineapple and mango with subtle tobacco and soft smoky aromas on the nose, all perked up by hints of anise and caraway. Concentrated and opulent in the mouth, with sweet pineapple and mango flavors framed by a lively and refreshing acid structure. Appetizing white peach and crisp green apple flavor the persistent finish. This very flexible wine could even be paired with difficult vegetables like asparagus and artichoke. Drink now to 2017.
