88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - March/April 2009

($13; a blend of cabernet sauvignon, pinotage, merlot and cabernet franc) Ruby-red. Aromatic nose combines black fruits, mocha, graphite and pepper. Suave on entry, then ripe and chunky in the mid-palate, with good fruit intensity and solid framing acidity. Relies more on its acids than on its tannins for structure.
