90 Points | International Wine Cellar , January/February 2009

($31) Bright red-ruby. Exotic aromas of musky red fruits, espresso, smoke, leather, game and pepper; I would have picked this blind as syrah-or mourvedre. Then elegant and complex in the mouth, with flavors of berries, leather, pepper, dried herbs, spices and minerals nicely framed by fresh acidity. A sharply delineated and grown-up wine, finishing with sweet tannins and very good length.
