(roughly 55% pinot noir, 35% chardonnay and 10% pinot meunier; L036010D100191): Light, bright gold. Aromas of pear and peach nectar, honey and white flowers, with a subtle yeasty undertone. Plush and expansive on the palate, offering pliant pit fruit flavors and a touch of tangerine. Plenty sweet but vibrant acidity adds delineation and finishing lift. This deeply flavored, fruit-driven Champagne would work wonderfully with intensely flavored cheeses or spicy Asian seafood or poultry dishes.
