Love at first sip

We were not familiar with any of the wines on a wine list at dinner last night, so my husband just picked 14 Hands. We both loved it and i came online to find out more about it and read some reviews.
And I don't even like cabs...
by CabernetFranc298346
But this one is definitely my cup of tea! Very nice and fruity, extremely smooth and easy to drink. A friend gave me a bottle and I was going to use it just to cook with because I'm not into cabs, but when I opened the bottle and poured some into my stew, the smell caught my attention. I tried a bit, and I was hooked! The next day, I was at the store getting some more! :)
Just delicious

I've been searching for this excellent wine ever since I tried a bottle at a Florida restaurant a couple of years ago. Until now, couldn't find it. One of the very best moderately priced Cabs.
Very smooth, easy sipping

I can see this wine going well with a variety of cuisines, especially spicy. It's smooth and would not interfere with a good Thai or Asian stir fry

The New Communion!
by Hoty13503866
This one was an unexpected gem... enticing aromas of chocolate, cherries, butterscotch(!) and oak... kept coming back to the glass to take another sniff... and it's all answered by the incredible long-lasting taste that soothes the mind and soul... getcha some!

Varietal Image
Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon built its reputation on Bordeaux's Left Bank. Here, in the district of Medoc, the varietal is the key component of blended wines that also may include some Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and even Malbec and Petit Verdot. Moving slightly south, Cabernet Sauvignon meets Merlot in roughly equal proportions in the red wines of Graves. In both of these Bordeaux regions, the top bottles...
