($23; 80% tempranillo and 10% each of mazuelo and garnacha) Deep red. Powerful, pungent cherry-vanilla and candied raspberry scents are complicated by cracked pepper and cured tobacco. Lush and creamy in texture, offering sweet red berry and cherry pie flavors and slow-building, furry tannins. The spiciness dominates the impressively long and sweet finish. Drinkable now, but I'd put this one away for another few years.
