($21) Bright ruby-red. Black- and redcurrant, mocha and tobacco along with a whiff of reduction on the inviting nose. Pliant and sweet, with fairly thick but smooth flavors of currant, chocolate and leather. Finishes with dusty, toothcoating tannins. Offers considerable early pleasure but has the freshness to last.
