2006 Chalk Hill Winery Pinot Gris North Slope Chalk Hill

Not much is left behind in the ripe peach and lightly honeysuckle first aromas and background suggestions of stones and light toast that add their own complexing notes. Without question, this is the most broadly constructed Pinot Gris in this review, and it reaches beyond almost anything that one would see from France or Italy in terms of sheer range. It may not be classic, but it is very tasty.
