About Maison Chapoutier

Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

Medium red. Racy redcurrant and strawberry on the nose. Brisk and slightly tart, with finely etched red berry and cherry skin flavors and good mineral lift. The tangy finish features a kiss of licorice.
