($48) Bright ruby. Fresh red and dark berry aromas are complemented by cured tobacco and cracked pepper. Textbook syrah, with sweet raspberry and candied cherry flavors and fine-grained tannins. Finishes juicy and fresh, with notes of sweet chewing tobacco and anise and very good persistence. Already showing very well.
