89 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January/February 2011

($18) Good medium red. Deep aromas of musky plum, earth and smoke. Sweeter and deeper than the 2008, offering plum and mocha flavors complicated by herbs and tobacco leaf. Decent acidity gives this more energy than the 2008. Finishes with suave, dusty tannins and very good aromatic persistence.
