($37; a blend of malbec, petit verdot and tannat) Medium ruby-red. Aromas of dark raspberry, bitter chocolate, herbs, licorice and musky oak. Suave and juicy, with good lift but modest sweetness and flesh to the slightly peppery dark fruit flavors. Finishes with building tannins and a repeating peppery quality.
